The model … Read more A vintage radio-controlled “Mini Buggy” produced under the Digitcon name, dating to the late 1970s or early 1980s. The model is presented in bright yellow with red and blue racing graphics, racing number 28, and “Digitcon Racing Team” decals. Designed at 1:20 scale, the buggy features an open-frame competition-style body, rear-mounted suspension with visible spring detail, knobby rear tires, and a low-profile front bumper. The buggy is accompanied by its original handheld radio controller, branded Digitcon, operating on 27 MHz, with long-wire antenna. The underside retains the original battery compartment and on/off switch, marked Made in China. The design reflects the early era of consumer radio-controlled vehicles, combining simplified mechanics with bold period graphics. Also included is the original illustrated cardboard box, printed with “Radio Controlled Mini Buggy,” technical specifications, and branding in both English and Japanese. The box exhibits noticeable wear, creasing, surface scuffing, and edge losses consistent with age and storage. Condition: The model appears complete and in overall good vintage condition, with visible signs of use, surface wear, and minor cosmetic marks. Electronics have not been tested.
