This elegant bottle-form vase … Read more Striking Scandinavian modern art glass vase designed by Bengt Orup for Johansfors Glasbruk, Sweden, circa 1960s. This elegant bottle-form vase features a tall, slender neck rising from a gently rounded body, measuring approximately 41 cm high and 7 cm in diameter. The clear crystal ground is infused with flowing swirls of cobalt blue, turquoise, and soft green, creating a dynamic, organic movement within the glass. Fine bubbles suspended throughout add depth and luminosity, enhancing the sculptural quality of the piece. The base retains the original Johansfors label and is signed “Johansfors Orup” to the underside, confirming its authenticity. A beautiful example of mid-century Swedish studio glass — refined, modern, and highly decorative from every angle.
