Gilded Frame from 1700, a splendid Louis XIV-style rectangular mirror with a modern mirror. This 18th-century mirror is richly carved with deep scrolls decorated with foliage and bunches of grapes, auspicious motifs. The antique frame of this Italian mirror has been restored in the past, consistent with its date, and is in good condition. Previous restorations show signs of re-gilding and the replacement of the frame supports on the back. It comes from a private collection in Lombardy.
The internal opening is 63 x 76.5 cm.
