As shown on … Read more A rare 1st issue woodblock print from kobe treinstation 1874 japan by hasegawa sadanobu ii (konobu i). As shown on the picture with arrows this version shows the right colors. A later version (yellow arrow) from 1936 has total different colors. This 1st issue woodblock prints are very hard to find. the print is signed on the left side, see picture with blue arrow, of the woodblock print. The woodblock print is framed in a bakelite framework and is colored with gold leaf. The frame is problably made for the woodblock print in the 1920s. The passe partout is cream white and shows little coloring. The whole is situated behind glass. On the backside the a aper sticker in english/ japanese the tells the brief story of the artist life.
