This vintage 3 piece silver -plate Italian desk set of a rectangular lidded box, bowl and lighter has a textural embossed square design very much in the style of Christian Dior. On the front of the box is a blank square where one if desires can put their initials engraved. The box is not hinged but lidded. The size of the box 7.85" W x 4.25" D x 1" H. It has some weight to it. The square bowl for paperclips or etc. is 4.5" W x 4.5" D x 1" H. The bowl has hallmarks. The lighter is 3.85" D x 3.85" W x 1.25" H. It is signed but not clearly legible and says 0-R 77.
From 1977. Handsome and utilitarian. Very lightly polished.
