Figures of this scale were traditionally created for temple festivals, ceremonial processions, or traveling fairs, where they served as lively theatrical elements within public celebrations. Finished in hand-applied paint with a warm yellow ground, expressive black spotting, and bold red harness-like decoration, with a small green saddle detail along the back.
