The massive slab rests on a traditional trestle base with sculptural supports joined by a long stretcher. The base elements are carved from solid oak and assembled using classic mortise-and-tenon joinery, creating a structure that is both visually striking and exceptionally sturdy. Because of its substantial scale and sculptural trestle base, the table has a strong architectural presence while retaining the warmth and authenticity of a traditional French farmhouse piece. Measuring nearly eight feet in length, the table offers generous seating while maintaining classic farmhouse proportions.
