French long bench in the Louis XVI manner paint decorated in shades of cream and gray. Carved guilloche border with flower head block ends. Turned and reeded legs with toupie feet joined by a stretcher. Upholstered in old cream silk textile embroidered with lions. Finished with nail head trim. The stool shows excellent signs of age and is strong and sturdy.

Measures 29" across x 16 1/4" deep x 19 1/4" tall. Useful at the foot of a bed, in the hall or anywhere you need a stool or occasional seating. With the addition of books or a tray would make a nice sofa table. Good condition - the upholstery is slightly frayed at the four corners. The fabric is extremely nice and it's a matter of taste whether to change it. A beautiful example. See less
