The white pedestal base is cast aluminum. The Tulip table is very striking and can also be used in an office setting. Eero Saarinen's design for Knoll is truly a timeless classic that can be incorporated into any decor. In his words, "the undercarriage of chairs and tables in a typical interior makes an ugly, confusing, unrestful world. I wanted to clear up the slum of legs.
