An elegant set of eight crystal glasses crafted in the early-mid 19th‑century French tradition associated with the historic ateliers of Montcenis and Vonêche. These manufactories played a foundational role in the development of luxury French crystal: Montcenis was a key centre of fine glass production in the 1820s–1830s whose techniques and stylistic language influenced later houses such as Baccarat and Saint-Louis, while Vonêche was historically connected to the early evolution of Baccarat and also to what would become the Belgian crystal tradition of Val Saint Lambert. 
The glasses share a refined architectural design: flat‑cut bowls that define a clean, structured profile, paired with single‑bottomed stems featuring a sculpted knop. This balanced and precise composition reflects the clarity and technical skill characteristic of early 19th‑century French crystal.
