This exceptional piece stands on bold gadrooned feet terminating in original porcelain castors, a practical yet refined detail typical of well-made period examples. The solid shelves are generously proportioned with softly rounded corners and a superbly figured surface, displaying the depth and warmth that only well-selected antique mahogany can offer.

The upper section is especially striking. The top rail is decorated with flowing, stylised carving reminiscent of early Arts & Crafts taste, incorporating scrollwork and a central rosette motif.
