Classical scenes show an offering to Peace after a design by Lady Templetown. This subject also catalogued as 'Sacrifice to Ceres' - see plate C24 in Robin Reilly's book "Wedgwood Jasper", Thames and Hudson, 1989. Good condition - hairline at rim does not detract. Unmarked - possibly Adams or Turner. Each measures 6 3/8" tall x 6" in diameter. The size and scale of these pots is very successful. Perfect garniture for the mantle or sideboard. See less
