1950s mid-century EVANS wristlet compact and cigarette case with Mother of Pearl cover.
This elegant vintage wristlet is in excellent condition and perfectly giftable in quality and presentation. This piece has been tucked away for decades and shows very little wear. The powder cake and the powder puff are held in place by a latched metal cover. The lipstick holder can host a lipstick or a lighter has a cap and attach. The wrist strap is metal mesh and is in excellent condition. The cover is Mother of Pearl and it has no chips, no cracks and no separation. The Wristlet has push button latches--one to open the front lipstick and powder door and the other button opens the back to access the spring tension cigarette holder. The wristlet measures 3 1/4 inches by 3/4 inches by 4.1/2 inches high. This is and elegant piece of the 1950s evening accessory fashion of the day made by EVANS.

The Evans Case Company of North Attleboro, MA was a concern making accessories in America. Manufacturing between 1920 and 1960. Colonel Obed Robinson who was a skilled blacksmith & clock maker began a jewellery / jewelry business in Attleboro in 1807.
