An exceptional example of Danish mid-century modern design, this four-drawer teak chest was designed by Børge Mogensen for Povl Dinesen in Denmark, circa 1960s. Executed in beautifully grained solid teak and veneer, the piece reflects Mogensen’s philosophy of honest materials, refined proportions, and functional simplicity.
The chest features four spacious drawers with clean-lined fronts, offering generous storage while maintaining a minimalist, architectural presence. Raised on elegant tapered legs, the form feels light yet grounded — a hallmark of classic Scandinavian modern furniture. The warm teak grain flows seamlessly across the facade, recently enhanced through a professional refinish that brings depth and richness to the wood.
Stamped with the original manufacturer’s label on the back, confirming authenticity. Presented in excellent refinished condition and ready for another lifetime of use.
