It is a striking Talosel or resin brooch designed by Irena Jaworska in the 1970s. The rare piece features an important dimensional, geometric modernist shape in gilded resin framing, topped with a triangle mirror mosaic in yellow and burnt orange colors. The pin is marked on the underside with the artist's monogram signature. Irena Jaworska is one of the Line Vautrin School students whose work was identified and recognized in the 1960s and 1970s.
Dimensions: 2.44 in wide (6.2 cm) by 2.69 in long (6.8 cm).
