Offered is a rare find, one of the earliest pieces of Dansk Ceramic cookware, a Dansk Copenhagen Casserole pot designed by Niels Refsgaard. This piece was made in Norway, and features the small round notch on the undersurface meant to hold the lid in place as a trivet to protect table surfaces. Alas, this piece has no lid, but will work with any of the Dansk Mist design with similar lid/trivet features. This piece is a precursor to the Dansk Bistro collection and their best selling Christianshavn pattern.
