What … Read more This is a sophisticated variation of a classic Art Deco line bracelet featuring rows of sparkling diamonds and sapphires. What sets this bracelet apart is the beautiful thin line of calibre cut sapphires that geometrically travel along the piece in a rhythmic pattern. Creating a zig-zag line within the piece required intricate variations to the cuts of the sapphires: the straight lines consist of rows of four French calibre cuts, while the diagonal lines consist of two calibre cut stones with angled, diagonal edges. The various cuts of sapphires all fit together like a jigsaw puzzle and flow seamlessly across the entirety of the bracelet. The diamond sections of the bracelet were constructed with a similar level of intricacy. Each consists of four transitional cut diamonds housed in a hand-carved setting, bead set with a border of milgrain work around it. The link featuring the diagonal sapphires contains two single cut diamonds, bead set into triangular settings that allow the sapphire line to cut across the link. Each setting is linked together on the backside of the bracelet, so that the bracelet is articulated and has fluid movement. The sides of the bracelet have openings on each link, allowing light to shine through the stones, with decorative milgrain work detailing the sides of the links. A gorgeous jewelry staple with beautiful pops of a blue and a lot of sparkle.

The bracelet contains 32 transitional cut natural antique diamonds that measure 2.75 mm across, and 14 natural antique single cut diamonds that measure 1.7 mm across. The TCW is 2.75 carats of diamonds. The diamonds are H-I in color and VS2- SI2 in clarity. The bracelet contains 46 synthetic calibre French cut sapphires.

The bracelet measures 6.75” and is approximately 1/4” wide. It weighs 25.9 grams. It has a tongue-in-groove clasp with a safety bar and safety chain. Marked as platinum. See less
