Set of six tiles made in Mexico from the studio of Gorky Gonzalez around the 1980's
They are all hand made so vary slightly in size but are all approximately 6' x 6"
Gorky Gonzalez (1939 - 2017) an award winning Mexican artist grew up in a family of artists as his father Rodolfo Gonzalez was a contemporary of Diego Rivera. Gorky Gonzalez is well-known throughout the Americas for his hand-painted ceramics and pottery he single-handedly began the renaissance of the lost art of majolica pottery.
