A masterclass in biodynamic design – ultra rare piece. Designed by the visionary Prof. Luigi Colani for Schütz, the Relaxer No. 8802 chaise lounge is a rare synthesis of space-age forms and natural materials.
Driven by his "Back to Nature" philosophy, Colani opted for bent rattan and wood to achieve this incredibly fluid, ergonomic silhouette. The sculptural, cocoon-like frame features a striking, dark iridescent finish that shifts dynamically in the light, providing a dramatic contrast to the custom-fitted, deep ruby red velvet upholstery.
It is a functional sculpture and a highly collectible piece of 20th-century design history that seamlessly blends organic warmth with futuristic aesthetics.
