A delicate coat rack by D-Tec, designed by Markus Börgens in the 1980s.
A highly functional and elegant coat rack in a postmodern style. The arms of the rack are inserted side-by-side into the base and are mounted on swivels. The upper end is chrome-plated and bends at a right angle. The actual garment holders are shaped like waves—a functional ornament and arguably the most striking detail of this rack. Small wooden spheres adorn the top. Three small hooks are located in the center of the column, suitable for umbrellas, for example. The heavy base is shaped like a shallow dome.
The coat rack is in very good condition with signs of use and patina. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
