An impressive floral picture frame with intertwined leaf tendrils, made in Germany during the Art Nouveau period.
This frame is a high-quality, meticulously handcrafted piece, made by an artist or silversmith. It was assembled from individual pieces that were intertwined and joined together. The individual front pieces are made of chased brass sheet. A matching brass sheet is soldered to the back.
The edges of the glass pane are polished.
