This set includes 2 host arm chairs, and 6 side chairs. Each chair has beautifully carved Frette work at each leg, each upper chair back corner, and a Greek key style detail on the frame of each chair. The bamboo vase detail on the back slat is lovely and unique compared to other Ming style sets. The slight curve to each chair back allows a comfortable “sit”. Ready for a cushion or easily use without. Ideal in a Traditional, Palm Beach style, Transitional, or Asian inspired dining room. The detail on these chairs set them apart. Refer to photos for more detail. The Frette work, Greek key style detail, and bamboo vase cutout on the back slat make this set of 8 remarkable and unique compared to other Ming style sets on the market. Host arms are secure and there have been no breaks. One Frette was missing so we had a professional furniture maker recreate it beautifully. Chair width and depth on host chairs is slightly larger (19” x 19”) These chairs are beautifully made, well built and solid. Truly generational quality. less
