This design of this lovely leaf shaped trinket dish/ashtray is heavily inspired by Qing Dynasty 1644-1911 porcelain, specifically the "Flower Springs and Insects" pattern common in the late 19th Century. This dish is likely a 20th-century reproduction.
The distinct green line on the rim is a hallmark of mid-20th century British interpretations of this style (Chinoiserie).
