Attributed to the Kano School or Kano Naizen who was famous for Nanban screen printings. These Nanban screens capture the fascination the Japanese had with European explorers and their enormous ships.. This framed print was published by the NY Graphic Society in the 1960s. Finely made, it has beautiful coloration and stands out in its original frame which has good age and patina. See less
