This abstract carved stone sculpture has the quiet presence of a perched bird. The curved crest, rounded body, and soft hollowed center give it a biomorphic quality that feels both modernist and ancient at the same time — reminiscent of Brancusi’s simplified forms or mid-century studio carvings. Signed by the artist on the bottom with the year ‘78 etched in the stone.

At just 4 inches tall and 4 inches long, it is intimate in scale but sculptural in impact.
