A striking pair of dragon handled chambersticks by Bradley and Hubbard, a Connecticut based company that what known for their exquisite metalwork and clocks. Bradley and Hubbard was in business from 1852 to 1940 when it was acquired by their rival, Charles Parker Company. After 1950, their designs were retired. Their designs can still be found in museums across the country including the Smithsonian.
Because this pair is made of unlacquered brass, please expect variations in color and a natural patina to develop over time. If you would prefer them to be polished before shipping, please send me a message. I am happy to do that for you.
Please note, the chamberstick on the right in the photos has a small indentation on the rim. It is best illustrated in the photo of the bottoms at one o'clock.
