The tall rectangular frame is crowned with a softly arched crest, richly embellished with hand-carved floral garlands composed of roses and blossoms in high relief. The substantial molded surround features bold ribbed and reeded carving that creates depth and visual rhythm, while sculpted floral rosettes anchor each corner, lending balance and sculptural presence.
The original gilt finish has developed a warm, timeworn patina with subtle tonal variations that highlight the crisp detailing and enhance its authentic antique character.
