This remarkable folk art model, crafted in concrete during the 20th century, depicts a multi-tiered French church with charmingly naïve architectural detail. The structure features layered gabled roofs, a central bell tower, arched doorways, and small window openings, all rendered with a hand-built quality that gives the piece its expressive character. The textured surface and weathered paint, showing tones of grey stone and muted red roof tiles, evoke the patina of age and the tactile charm of vernacular craftsmanship. Substantial in scale and presence, this model functions as both a sculptural object and a celebration of regional architecture. It is an evocative accent for interiors that appreciate folk art, architectural models, or distinctive decorative pieces with story and soul. See less
