Kralik was a premier Bohemian glassworks (Czechoslovakia), becoming a major Art Nouveau and Art Deco producer rivaling Loetz and Tiffany. This piece is a quintessential "anchor" for a Mid-Century Modern or Brutalist interior, blending industrial raw metalwork with the vibrant fluidity of hand-blown glass.

Design & Craftsmanship
The vase features a complex "spatter" (or splatter) technique with a dramatic tri-color palette of cobalt blue, emerald green, and sunset orange. While molten, the glass was hand-blown directly into a custom hand-forged wrought iron armature. This "imprisoned" technique causes the glass to swell and bubble outward between the iron bands, creating a highly tactile and organic "hourglass" silhouette.
