This stunning and large example was part of the fantastic folk and fine art collection amassed by Penny Marshall, the Hollywood legend and sold at the 2020 Los Angeles auction of her collection.

The domed metal shade measures 19" in diameter and approximately 12" high, with an overall lamp height of 26". The glass panels are ice-chip textured glass, creating a crystalline surface that beautifully enhances the winter scene when illuminated. The effect is especially dramatic at dusk, when the sunset tones glow through the fractured texture.
