A fine antique French miniature portrait depicting Napoleon Bonaparte in imperial uniform, finely rendered in profile with medal and epaulettes. The portrait is mounted under convex glass against its original emerald green silk moiré backing.
The miniature is housed in an elegant Empire Revival gilt metal frame surmounted by a laurel wreath crest. The finely cast frame features leaf and berry ornament and twisted rope borders.
Back has both easel and ring for display on wall
