This antique chest from Italy … Read more An Italian chest of three drawers, with additional lift top storage, from the 18th century. This antique chest from Italy has a slightly overhanging, rectangular-shaped top which lifts to reveal open storage within. The case houses three full-sized, graduated, recessed-panel drawers, flanked within column style side posts, and is raised upon carved bracket feet. Each of the drawers are fitted with quite nice, decorative metal pulls and an escutcheon at center. The wood has has a bleached finish with nice patina throughout, and a taupe wash of color acts as a contrast accent. This 18th century Italian chest will make a handsome decorative storage and display addition to a bedroom, living room, or entry foyer! See less
