Up for sale is a one of a kind authentic Mid Century Modern driftwood table lamp. The lamp has been in storage and would shine up even more with a nice dusting. The lamp is all a continuous solid piece of authentic wood, and not Faux bois (fake wood), as many others like it appear to be. The cord looks to be the original, but is in great shape with no frays or rubber cracking. The lamp has been tested and works great. The lamp currently has a spiral fluorescent bulb installed but can easy be swapped with any normal socket bulb. The lamp does not have a shade, the original shade would have been made of vellum (animal skin). Period correct shades are available online with many different styles to choose from! On top, is the original matching finial. In the photos the finial looks to be more gold colored than the base, however it is just the angle of the light. Extrodinary one of a kind piece that quickly draws the attention of anyone near!
