This vintage French Rococo–style curio cabinet features a tall, slender silhouette with ornate carved details, glass side panels, and a warm coppery-gilt finish that highlights the scrollwork and decorative crest. The front door has shaped glass and a lower hand-painted floral medallion.
Inside are three sturdy, adjustable glass shelves, and a mirrored back that enhances brightness and depth when displaying décor. Along the interior edges, where the glass meets the wood frame, is a rope-style trim — a finishing detail commonly used in mid-century Rococo Revival cabinetry to create a clean transition between materials and give the interior a more refined presentation.
The bottom interior is upholstered in a thick velvet/mohair-like fabric, showing visible age-related soiling; brushed and vacuumed but retains natural wear.
A beautiful decorative display piece suited for showcasing china, collectibles, and curated décor.
