This French Art Deco perfume bottle was produced by Sabino in the Gaite pattern, a model distinguished by its sculptural relief of elongated nude nymphs arranged vertically around the vessel.
Molded in opalescent glass, the surface displays Sabino’s characteristic milky translucence with subtle blue undertones that intensify along the raised figures. The bottle is topped with a faceted opalescent stopper, complementing the streamlined form while reinforcing the classical figural theme favored in Sabino’s interwar production.
Works from the Gaite series exemplify the studio’s synthesis of classical motifs with modernist clarity, positioning the piece within the decorative arts language of 1920s–1930s France.
Provenance details unknown; acquired directly from a Northern California collection.
