Edwardian Silver Photo Frame from England, lovingly refurbished by Fine English Silver Frames by Mara in the 1990s. Frame features delicate lattice motifs, featuring birds, leaves, and a smiling face in the bottom center. Photo frame features unblemished glass, and backing has been refurbished with a navy blue velvet. Frame measures 5.5” x 7”, and the photo window is 3” x 4”.
Fine English Silver Frames by Mara was a single-person business that operated in the 1990s by a woman refurbishing pure silver frames from her home country of England. Though operating for just a few short years, Mara was able to bring many frames back to their original splendor for casual and serious collectors alike.
