Vintage 1950s–1960s Fontainebleau Miami Beach Ashtray
An iconic mid-century ashtray from the legendary Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. Crafted in creamy glazed ceramic with a sculptural rope-molded rim, this piece features two cigarette rests and a classic blue transferware-style crest at center. The design showcases a crowned monogram encircled by a laurel wreath and flanked by heraldic figures, with “Fontainebleau” and “Miami Beach” elegantly scripted along the rim.
Opened in 1954, the Fontainebleau quickly became one of the most glamorous destinations in America, synonymous with Rat Pack-era decadence, poolside cocktails, and Miami’s golden age of resort culture.
