An exquisite mid-century Japanese Satsuma-style porcelain lidded jar. This piece features a striking tripod silhouette with three hand-gilded feet. The vessel is masterfully decorated with two distinct hand-painted cartouches: one depicting a traditional mountain landscape and the other a lush floral arrangement.
The jar is heavily embellished with Moriage (raised enamel) beading and rich gold-leaf accents against a classic crackle-glaze ground. A sophisticated accent for Chinoiserie-inspired interiors or as a standalone focal point. In pristine vintage condition with no chips or restorations."
