It is very solidly built in the neoclassical empire style and will easily take the weight of a stack of books, drinks tray, and, of course, your feet.
The padded top is upholstered in a blue and white paisley linen. The tag on the bottom identifies it as being made by Virginia Frame and Woodworking which helps to place an age on the piece. See less
