This … Read more Here is a rare mid-century modern ceramic set with the Florenz decor, manufactured by Bay Keramik in West Germany. This set was designed by Josef Kocharound 1957. Eduard Bay (Bay Keramik), based in Ransbach-Baumbach, Germany. Known as "Florenz," it features a distinctive yellow and white background with black geometric and "crackle" line patterns. The group typically includes a large carafe/pitcher (also referred to as the "Pregnant Helene" vase), a smaller handled jug, a slender vase, and a lidded bowl or basket.
These pieces are highly collectible examples of West German Pottery (WGP). No chips or cracks. Look like they were in a show case with original gold labels.
