Two stunning seascape oil on board paintings of sail ships at sea by unknown artist.
Mounted in a wide carved gilt frame. Both paintings are signed.
Label on the back from Carvers & Gilders, England.

This piece of sea scape art is most likely painted in England in the beginning of the 20th century and probably originating from an English class where they studied painting ships and boats. High degree of skill and talent in the details as the picture of the ships only measures 23.5 x 18.5 cm without frame.

Good original condition with patina consistent with age and use. One painting has a couple of scratches. See less
