1970s lounge chair, model Kongo, designed by Åke Fribytter for IKEA. Crafted in solid oak with original leather armrests.
The chair has been professionally restored, featuring new canvas support and cushions newly upholstered in a textile designed by Stig Lindberg.
A well-known example of Scandinavian modern design, combining comfort and clean construction. Presented in excellent condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
