A monumental, hand-hewn dough bowl (or trencher) measuring 38 inches in length. This piece features a stunning, aged patina and visible tool marks that highlight its authentic primitive craftsmanship.
Carved from a single solid block of wood, it boasts a deep, rich wood grain and the natural irregularities—such as minor age-related fissures and soft edge wear—that are characteristic of genuine 19th-century utility ware.
Perfect as a dramatic centerpiece for a harvest table, a vessel for oversized botanicals, or as a statement piece on a fireplace mantle.
