This is an authentic early 19th-century copperplate engraving from Chrétien-Louis-Joseph de Guignes' landmark atlas Voyages à Peking. This specific piece was acquired through Michaan’s Auctions in Alameda, a premier West Coast auction house.

• Subject: A "Flower Boat" or Pleasure Boat in Canton (Guangzhou).
• Artist: De Guignes (fecit) / Desève (direx).
