A substantial and elegantly proportioned neoclassical console table attributed to Maison Jansen, France, circa 1970s. The table is surmounted by a rectangular slab of natural coquina limestone, richly textured with fossilized shell and coral inclusions, presenting a warm honed surface with organic quarry-cut edges.

The architectural base is executed in dark patinated iron with stylized X-form legs joined by a horizontal stretcher, accented throughout with finely machined gilt brass collars, bosses, and sabots. At the center, a distinctive twisted iron rod and paired brass ring motif provides both structural reinforcement and sculptural ornament, a signature detail associated with Maison Jansen’s refined neoclassical revival designs.
