A striking Brutalist vertical sculpture signed D. Larson, 2012. Composed of three steel rods rising from a solid steel plinth, the form is punctuated by clusters of rough, brass-toned organic elements resembling medallions, blossoms, or abstracted foliage.
The textured brass masses create a rhythmic, ascending composition - architectural yet organic - capturing the raw, expressive spirit of mid-century Brutalism. The interplay between industrial steel and molten-textured brass gives the piece sculptural tension and strong shadow play.
