A large handsome English pedestal desk of mahogany from the 19th century, featuring a moulded rectangular top with a gallery rail, over an arrangement of nine drawers: three across the top frieze and three in each pedestal, around a central kneehole cabinet.
All the drawers featuring turned knob pulls and six with brass escutcheons, the central cabinet door with a brass knob pull.
The whole with paneled back and sides, on raised plinths and hidden rolling casters.
