Authentic vintage Eames Molded Fiberglass Rocker (RAR) designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller.
This example features a desirable warm ochre fiberglass shell with visible fiber patterning — a hallmark of early production fiberglass models. The original Herman Miller label remains intact.
The shell is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks. Shock mounts are secure. The original dowel rocker base is structurally sound and stable. There are minor cosmetic paint traces on portions of the wooden rockers consistent with age and use, which do not affect function. I will leave this for you to decide if you’d like to remove.
A timeless mid-century design that works beautifully in modern, Scandinavian, or eclectic interiors.
