The slab of wood that serves as the top is impressive with all the gouges, stains, scrapes, cracks and even dried old wormholes that all combine to build the depth of character. Note along the edge there is a cut out section, likely where a tool was attached at an early point in its use.
This coffee table has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to use and enjoy. Much wear and distress to the top does not impact ability to rest items upon it.
