A gorgeous antique William IV side table. This was made in England, it dates from the 1830-1840 period.
It is of fine quality, with a slender and elegant design. The top has an unusual insert that can pop off and lift out to reveal some inner storage space. There is a small brass pin under the top that is pushed to release the top. It stands on a slender tapered column base terminating in a platform base and bun feet.
We have had this revived and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some extremely minor wear remaining here and there.
